OwlBear

My take on a minimal pamphlet rpg system. It spawned off the idea of Laser & Feelings hacks, and the name OwlBear just stuck out as such an obvious X/Y thing. From there, it grew into making the best minimal rule set based around L&F while keeping OSR and FKR ideals, such as "rulings over rules", as well as balancing difficulty and lethality with fun and usability. I also didn't want to lean too much onto combat, so the rules try to be action-neutral. Figure out what you want to do and let the dice speak. There's no benefit to being a murdering barbarian than there is a keen merchant. Both have ways of getting out of trouble
